Along with the interesting topics that were discussed, companies’ representatives had the opportunity to discuss face to face nearshoring opportunities, potential partnerships and mutual projects.

With the effect of Ankara rampage and the attack in Paris, five of the speakers have cancelled their attendance. Plamen Russev, Chairman of Webit, addressed all attendees to fight terror and innovate on without fear.

Great Ideas
The event provided a great opportunity for dozens of startups to present their business in front of the intrigued public. What was really amusing is the great ideas those people have! There was also a noticeable trend among the startups to focus on the future generation. Companies like Vai Kai and TIO definitely show that technology could be good for kids.

There were a lot of other interesting companies exhibiting at WEBIT.EMEA – from companies offering professional training and certification, digital advertising agencies, news agencies, software solutions providers… Main topics: media, advertising, digital entertainment, Internet of Everything, BigData, Cloud, Money and Payments.

The event also organized smaller Meetups where a limited number of professionals could meet and discuss a wide range of topics: from Programmatic Advertising to Artificial Intelligence. For sure, everybody could find a topic interesting to them.

Strong Bulgarian Presence
We could definitely state that the presence of Bulgarian companies was strong. Bulgarian exhibitors, Bulgarian startups and a lot of visitors from Bulgarian IT companies – for sure it is nice to see so many smart people at one place!

The Party
Right after the end of the first day of DIGIT.EMEA it was time for party. The party was held at the man-made island of Suada. What happens at the Webit Party, stays at the Webit Party.
