What is your role at Devision?
I am proud to be the Sales & Business Development Manager at Devision. This role gives me the best opportunity to express myself professionally and I strive for perfection in it every single day. Hopefully, I will be able to exercise the role for a long, long time ahead in the future if everything keeps going according to plan.
Why did you join Devision?
In my honest opinion, every person that comes into a new job should aim towards growing as a professional and to “steal” as many things from his colleagues’ skills as possible. Coming from a background that helped me gain experience in the field, I hope that I will aid Devision to expand even further. And in return I expect the same from the company – to help me grow and develop as a better professional, so that the benefits are mutual.
What are 3 words to describe Devision?
The first two are encrypted in its name – “Development” + “Vision” = “Future”, which I would add as the third one. There are some more that I can think of when trying to describe Devision, but I guess these three represent the company best, as far I am concerned.
What advice do you have for prospective Devision candidates?
No matter how trivial it might sound, it would be “Look no further!”. You can absolutely be anything you want to be in this professional sphere while being part of Devision. All the conditions you need to succeed are present here, so don’t hesitate even for one second to come aboard and join our fantastic team.
How do you balance your career at Devision and friends & family?
“From Monday to Friday I am Bruce Banner, but on weekends I unleash the Hulk”! This phrase sums me up completely, as I manage to separate myself 100% between my workday’s version and the weekend one.
During workdays I keep myself busy, occupied, working, learning new things and developing in combination with (kind of struggling, but still) eating healthy and trying to work out from time to time. On weekends though, I allow myself whatever my heart desires. I truly believe this separation is healthy, as it keeps the balance and helps you be fresh for work and cheerful for your friends and family.
How do you describe your work personality vs. your home life personality?
These two beings combined into one! As we are working remotely almost all of the time since “you know what”, the line between being at home and working from home began to fade even more. But I still manage to separate both things.
How do you define success in life?
Happiness, health & fulfillment (having a goal and pursuing it). Being satisfied with your work and life achievements, combined with following your own path and dreams, sets the foundation for success. I can wholeheartedly say that I consider myself a successful person by this criteria.
What’s your favorite line from a movie?
“All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.” This phrase by Gandalf to Frodo from Lord of the Rings always gets me. I use it as a motivational tool in many different parts of my life.
Describe what you were like at age 10.
Thankfully, deep within, not much different than I am right now. I am still full of curiosity towards many different spheres of life as I was back in the days when I was running around the streets and playing with my friends after school. Let’s hope I’ll never lose this childhood spirit of constant searching and discovering.
What’s your motto or personal mantra?
In our lives we don’t have time to prepare and plan everything – just jump and make the most out of it!
